Bestsellers sold out every November while slow lines sat in the warehouse. Reordering ran on a spreadsheet only one person understood.
Reorder before it runs out
Every night the system reads sales, stock and each supplier's lead time, forecasts the next twelve weeks and flags anything that will run out before a new order could arrive. It drafts the purchase order in that supplier's format. The buyer approves it in Slack, and it's sent.
